The potential of the very young pianists is nowadays unbelievable. At the age of 14 or 16 they are already professional pianists. Nevertheless, a new international experience and the contact with a different musical environment can be very helpful for their artistic and cultural development.

As a part of the PIANO ACADEMY EPPAN, a JUNIOR ACADEMY for specially gifted pianist under 18 will take place in Eppan in the week before Eastern. There is no lower age limit. 8 talented young pianists from all over the world will be invited to Eppan (South Tirol, Italy) to attend a 3 days masterclass with Prof. Andrea Bonatta from April 12 to April 14 and to perform in 2 public concerts on April 13 and 14, 2018 in the Raiffeisen Forum Lanserhaus.

The masterclass is free of charge and the participants will receive a travel allowance of € 300.
3 Junior Prizes of € 1,000 each, given by the City of Eppan, will be awarded. The winners will be chosen by the public who will be attending both concerts.

The JUNIOR ACADEMY EPPAN is an initiative of the Kultur Kontakt Eppan, supported by the City of Eppan and several Sponsors. It takes place in cooperation with the ETTLINGEN International Competition for Young Pianists.
